- Human flourishing, a concept from positive psychology, centers our thriving in life. In these gatherings, we focus on connection with self, community, and nature, blending mindfulness and self-compassion practices with down-to-earth conversation along the motherhood journey.
- Matrescence (the developmental transition of motherhood) is a wonderful and wild ride. Did you know that there are 3 common conflicts that arise for moms in this phase? They are isolation, perfectionism, and self-sacrifice, and, they can get really heavy when we don’t have support.
- This workshop series strives to shift:
- Isolation to belonging,
- Perfectionism to “good enough” mothering through self-compassion practice and relationship, &
- Self-sacrifice to authentic self-care, rooted in the needs of this developmental stage.
- This workshop is for you if you’re pregnant, postpartum, or in the early caregiving years (0-5).
- Learn how fostering a relationship with nature can enhance your wellbeing at any phase of motherhood.
- Leave with practical tips & tools to use in daily life to: decrease overwhelm & overstimulation, enhance mindfulness, find joy and harmony in any season.
- There is free lot parking.
- Babies in wearable carriers or strollers are welcome to join for the attachment and bonding experience, or you’re welcome to come solo or with a friend.
- Please dress comfortably in walking shoes and bring a beverage/snack of choice if desired.
